These wheels have black tires and push rims, as well as 3 purple loops that replace the spokes on a standard wheel. There is a spring system between the hub and the rim of the wheel that provides suspension which is constantly adjusting to uneven surfaces.

These wheels are made up of three loops that work together to create a self-correcting system. There is also a spring system between the hub and the rim of the wheel that provides suspension so it can constantly adjust to uneven surfaces. Making the hub within the rim float, by constantly adjusting once the shock from an uneven surface hits the rim of the wheel.
Attaching and removing the wheels couldn’t be easier – you simply press the big button in the centre of the wheel so the quick release axel appears, line the wheel up against your chair and push the axel into the hole until you hear a click. Then to remove the wheel, all you have to do is press the big button in the centre of the wheel and pull it away from the wheelchair!
Thankfully Loopwheels offer a ‘try before you buy scheme’ to prevent users from spending a lot of money on a product that might not work for them. All you have to do is sign up online and pay £20 to cover the delivery charges, then the wheels are delivered to your door for you to use for 21 days. You don’t get to choose the colour of the wheels you borrow, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover a set of purple wheels in excellent condition! I honestly never expected the wheels to be as good as the reviews made them out to be, which is why I hadn’t considered how I might pay for them once my trial came to an end! Although Loopwheels have several payment methods including monthly instalments to make the purchase much more affordable!
To conclude, I still genuinely love everything about these wheels even though I have been using them for several months now. They aren’t as many vibrations radiating up into my seat cushion, backrest or handlebars, which not only reduces my pain levels but also makes life easier for my carer when pushing me. I feel as if my chair now glides along, as opposed to rolls. I also love that the wheels are sleek and stylish, which in turn makes my wheelchair look rather snazzy! So much so that people regularly stop me to ask about my Loopwheels! Because of this, I would highly recommend Loopwheels to anyone who is looking for a way to make their wheelchair more comfortable. But for anyone feeling unsure, I suggest signing up for their trial to see how much these wheels could improve your quality of life before committing to a purchase!
