Item Description:
These communication cards come in a variety of styles and can be customised. They arrived incredibly quickly in an envelope and I had help with ordering over Instagram when I had a few concerns about which cards to order. Each card comes with a key ring and there is the option to buy plain cards with blank stickers to fill out too. I can sometimes find it a bit embarrassing to wear the cards so I pop them next to me as they are quite big.

Personal Opinion:
These cards are an absolute game-changer for your independence. I wear them on a lanyard around my neck if I’m having a bad POTS day which means I faint a lot. They have saved me from many unnecessary hospital visits and as someone with medical trauma, this is particularly helpful. The cards help to make me feel safe when I’m out on my own and can communicate my needs to staff and members of the public if they find me unwell and are concerned. Often I am unable to communicate when unwell so these cards do their job in doing that for me. I’ve used them many times and had members of the public comment on how useful they found them, particularly as they panicked when they found me unwell.
I have the: ‘I’m fine- no medical assistance required’ card as well as the ‘I faint’ and the ‘I flop’ and ‘hemiplegic migraines’ and a blank card.
