A powered wheelchair bike attachment that clips onto the front of most manual wheelchairs (I use a Quickie Nitrum). With so many custom colours to choose from, I chose a duck egg blue frame. I also opted for off-road tyres, eco drive, throttle, and uncapped speed.

This is a fantastic piece of kit! Since my Triride arrived, I have been able to go to the beach, join my friends on dog walks, go to the supermarket independently, explore local nature reserves with my partner and even go on a trip to Cornwall! I no longer need to be pushed everywhere and I have gained back my independence.
The Celtic team were able to support me in learning how to use the Triride, getting the set up completely right (such as making sure my castor wheels were high enough off the floor etc), and just generally incredibly helpful. They even worked out a way for me to attach my lovely basket to the front! It is quite heavy and I chose to go without the lateral stand which can help to take some of the weight for ease of transport in my vehicle, but I am able to attach and detach it independently by lining it up and reversing it into the brackets so found it more beneficial to go without.
I am able to tackle hills, mud, gravel, compact sand, and wet grass (although there is definitely a knack to doing this as it was tricky at first). Breaking is easy, as is changing gears. I will say that it took me a few goes (and calls to the Celtic team) to work out how to tackle all these different surfaces, as it’s not something you’re used to doing as a wheelchair user. But now that I’ve got it, I’ve been all over! I truly love my Triride and I am so grateful to Access Your Life and the funders who enabled me to access this wonderful equipment.
