What would you rate this wheelchair:
I used to have a Handicare Beatle, but this chair has been very adaptable. My local NHS Wheelchair Services have been able to tweak different parts of the chair without too much trouble to better fit my needs. I think all the parts can be customised or adapted, so it is a pretty versatile wheelchair.
The turning circle is great, meaning you can literally turn on the spot. It also tilts and reclines, which is handy when you are in it for long periods of time. I haven’t had any problems with the wheelchair tipping even though it can be difficult on higher kerbs, but overall it is fairly stable and doesn't tilt much. So far I have not found drawbacks, so I would recommend this wheelchair to people looking for a highly adaptable powered wheelchair.
