Trekinetic K2 Manual Wheelchair

Trekinetic K2 Manual Wheelchair

Overall Rating: ★★★★★

Tell us what your wheelchair looks like: Three wheeler all terrain wheelchair with two chunky mountain bike tyres on the front and a smaller chunky all terrain tyre on the back. The wheelchair is so lightweight that I could push my adult son over uneven ground on a campsite with just one finger.
Folds really small to be able to go in the boot of a small Honda Jazz car. It also has the points for locking down into a WAV so that my son can travel safely in his wheelchair.

Bundlebean Wheelchair Cover

Bundlebean Wheelchair Cover

Overall Rating ★★★★★

Tell us what your attachment looks like: Waterproof wheelchair cover in a range of funky designs. Bundlebean is a fleece lined, waterproof cosy which fits into it's own small bag. The design is similar to a blanket which fastens using a range of toggles and elasticated sections to the footplates, leg rests and back of your wheelchair. Because it is a blanket type design, it is very easy to get in and out of, unlike the other ones which are more like sleeping bags on the market. The Bundlebean has a large central pocket to keep your hands warm in, or items, and the bag it comes in attaches to the handle of your wheelchair easily for travel. The best thing about the Bundlebean is the designs, my particular favourite is the Flamingo, as it always looks fashionable and many people compliment it when I'm out.

RGK HiLite Manual Wheelchair

RGK HiLite Manual Wheelchair

Overall Rating: ★★★★★

Tell us what your wheelchair looks like: It has a titanium, fixed frame with fairly high push handles (my husband is very tall), a fixed carbon fibre foot plate, brakes with extensions (to make it possible for me to pull them back and forth), detachable swing-away arms, carbon fibre side-guards and a seat belt. It is coupled with a Jay back rest, to give good back support, and a Vicair cushion for pressure-relief. It was made to measure, with as little wasted space as possible at the sides so that I could get through the very narrow doorways of an ancient house. The chair itself is 58cm wide and 80cm long, and very light.
