Invacare Action 3 – Manual Wheelchair

Wheelchair Description:
A black folding chair with attendant push handles and individual removable arm and footrests. It has large rear wheels with push rims, along with front castors that are larger than most with a wider rubber tyre.

Personal Opinion:
Whilst I require a wheelchair to live independently, I would not recommend this chair as it does not meet my needs so I don’t have any positive things to say about it having lived with it for some time. I particularly struggle with the way the castors tend to ‘flutter’ as I push myself along, especially on slightly uneven surfaces as this adds to the effort required to propel the chair as well as making it more unstable and difficult to control.
